At Emma, we are committed to transparency and security in all aspects of our operations. Below, you will find an up-to-date list of the trusted subprocessors we use to deliver and support our services, as well as a description of how each is involved in our processes. All subprocessors listed operate exclusively within the European Union, ensuring compliance with GDPR and EU data residency requirements.

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Location: EU (Frankfurt, Germany)

Purpose:

  • Secure storage of all application and client data.

  • Anthropic (LLM Models)


Railway

Location: EU (Netherlands)

Purpose: Cloud-based deployment platform used for hosting and scaling the Emma web application.


MongoDB Atlas

Location: EU (Frankfurt, Germany)

Purpose: Managed cloud database service where we securely store and manage your structured data.


Microsoft Azure

Location: EU (Sweden)

Purpose:

  • OpenAI LLM Models: Secure AI processing for Emma features using OpenAI models.

  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Secure authentication and login services for Emma users.


Google Cloud Platform

Location: EU (Belgium)

Purpose:

  • Gemini LLM Models: AI-powered features using Google Gemini models (Vertex AI).

  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Additional authentication options for Emma users.


PostHog

Location: EU

Purpose: Privacy-focused monitoring and analytics platform to ensure product quality and reliability.


GitHub (Microsoft)

Location: EU servers (primary global infrastructure)

Purpose: Secure code repository for application development, security, and version control.
