The Emma platform uses AI to classify the documents in to the categories of the Information Request List (IRL). In some cases the AI might not be sure in which category a document belongs. The Classification page offers a user-friendly tool to link the documents to the right category of your IRL.
In the video below you can see how to use the classification page.
Nothing to classify
If you go to the Classification page and it says All documents are classified like in the image below, the AI was able to classify all documents automatically.
Unclassified documents
If you go to the Classification page and there are documents that the AI was not able to assign to the right category of the IRL, your dashboard will look something like this:
On the right you see which documents are unclassified. If you now the right category based on the file name you can classify the document by clicking on the pencil button and assigning the right document type as discussed in this article.
Alternatively you can classify the document using the built-in wizard by clicking on Start classification.
Next you will be taken to the classification wizard which looks like this:
On the left you see how far you are along the process and you find some basic information about the document you are reviewing. In the middle you see the name and the summary of the document and the document itself. And on the right you can select the correct document type.
To assign your document to the correct category, you can search for the document type you are looking for in the search bar and just select the document type you want to assign.
If you can't find the correct document type, you can always click the +-icon on the top right and add a new custom document type to your IRL. More information on that can be found in this article.
