In the video below you will get a high-level overview of all the different components of the Emma platform.

If you want to know more information about each of our individual components, just check out our other product videos or our product documentation. You can find links below.

Create a Data Room

Creating a new data room is simple. Just follow the wizard after you click the β€œCreate Data Room” button.

In this wizard you will be presented with following options:

  • Connect to a cloud provider, such as Microsoft OneDrive: You will be redirected to the specific provider so the application can get the right access rights. After that you are all set!

  • Integrate directly with a Virtual Data Room (VDR) provider or document management system: You will also need to give Emma the right access rights.

  • Upload files directly from your computer into Emma: Quick and easy just pick the files and you are good to go.

Data Room Overview

The Data Room Overview page provides a high-level summary of:

  • Risks and liabilities identified in your data room

    • Overall Completion: A color-coded legend showing the distribution of risk levels found across all documents (High, Medium, Low, No Risk).

    • Red Flags Categorized: Shows a summary of risks broken down by legal area (e.g., "General," "HR," "Corporation"). It visualizes the number of checks analyzed and their risk level.

  • Next steps in the due diligence process

    • These are actionable cards that guide you on the next steps, like "Review risk assessment" or "Add documents.”

IRL & Gap Analysis

Use this page to:

  • Configure your Information Request List (IRL)

If the AI is uncertain about the appropriate IRL category for a document, use the Classification page to manually assign it.

Browser

The Browser lets you:

  • Explore documents in their original folder structure

  • View file content

  • Upload additional documents or folders

Matrix

The Matrix is one of our most used and powerful features. For each IRL category, you’ll see:

  • A list of all the documents

  • Summaries and identified risks per document

  • Extracted properties per document

Checks

In the Checks page, you can configure checks that run across all documents to:

  • Answer specific questions

  • Uncover risks and liabilities

Report

The Report page marks the final stage of the due diligence process. You can:

  • Review and edit the Red Flag Report

  • Export it to PDF or Microsoft Word
