Google Drive - Connection

This article explains how to connect a Google Drive folder to an Emma data room so documents are synced automatically.

Written by Paul Gaston GOURON

The Google Drive integration lets you connect a folder from your Google Drive directly to an Emma data room. Once connected, Emma syncs the documents you select and analyzes them automatically — no manual downloading or uploading required.

The integration is available to all Emma users at no additional cost.

How to connect Google Drive

  1. In Emma, open the data room (or create a new one) and click Connect next to Google Drive.

  2. You are redirected to Google’s authorization screen. Sign in with the Google account that has access to the Drive folder you want to sync, and approve the requested permissions.

  3. After authorization, you return to Emma. Select the folders and files from your Google Drive that you want to import into this data room.

  4. Emma starts importing the selected content. Once the import completes, documents appear in your data room and are analyzed automatically.

New documents added to the synced folder in Google Drive are picked up automatically on the next sync.
