Emma integrates with both Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft SharePoint. Both use the same Microsoft OAuth flow and are available to all Emma users at no additional cost.
OneDrive — connects to a personal or business OneDrive folder.
SharePoint — connects to a SharePoint document library or folder.
How to connect OneDrive or SharePoint
In Emma, open the data room (or create a new one) and click Connect next to OneDrive or SharePoint.
You are redirected to Microsoft’s authorization screen. Sign in with the Microsoft account (or work/school account) that has access to the files you want to sync, and approve the requested permissions.
After authorization, you return to Emma. A Microsoft file picker opens — browse to the folder you want to sync and confirm your selection.
Emma starts importing the selected content. Once the import completes, documents appear in your data room and are analyzed automatically.
New documents added to the synced folder in OneDrive or SharePoint are picked up automatically on the next sync.
FAQ
Q: Can I connect both OneDrive and SharePoint to the same data room?
A: Each data room is connected to one source at a time. You can connect either OneDrive or SharePoint (not both simultaneously) to a single data room.
Q: I authorized with the wrong Microsoft account. How do I fix it?
A: Open the data room integration settings in Emma and use the Reconnect option. You will be redirected to Microsoft’s sign-in page where you can choose a different account.
